Advanced dialysis unit set up under Dr. Raka Kaushal at Ivy Hospital

Punjab Cooperation minister, Capt. Kanvaljit Singh inaugurated an Advanced Dialysis Unit for ffectively conducting and monitoring the quality of dialysis involved in renal replacement procedure at Ivy Hospital today.

With this, the hospital claims to have become the first hospital in North India to have acquired such an advanced unit, commissioned under Dr. Raka Kaushal, a Nephrologist. Even PGIMER, Chandigarh was not having an advanced machine of this level for handling and monitoring Renal Transplantation procedures and dialysis.

Speaking on the occasion, Capt. Kanwaljit Singh congratulated the hospital team for having made a headstart in renal transplantation treatment, which is a daunting area in healthcare.
